Course intended for Graduates in Biomedical Sciences (Biologists, Medical Doctors, Veterinarians, Pharmacists and similar groups).

This program of master studies aims to achieve in students the understanding of the mechanisms of fertility, causes of infertility and techniques used to combat it by means of assisted reproduction, as well as the research techniques applied to different situations of the study and treatment of infertility in humans.

For this, more than 50 experts from all fields, from the prestigious Valencian Institute of Infertility (IVIRMA), with a clinical, teaching and research experience of more than 25 years, where more than 40,000 annual assisted reproductive treatments are carried out, pour their knowledge for providing the student with the most up-to-date and useful teaching materials, both for recent graduates of biomedical degrees, as well as for professionals in the area whose goal is to update themselves, and be able to provide their patients with the best service and help thanks to this knowledge.

The postgraduate program provides the necessary training to begin the integration in assisted human reproduction laboratories, as well as in research centers in the area.

The program will accredit graduates to pursue a career in the human assisted reproduction field, genetic diagnosis and/or research in reproductive science.

The postgraduate program provides the necessary training to begin the integration in assisted human reproduction laboratories, as well as in research centers in the area.

The most common professional output for graduates is that of clinical embryologist or specialist in the laboratory of human reproduction, although it is not limited to it, since research, scientific or commercial activity in the field are possibilities of being hired in these circumstances.

More than 50 experts with clinical, teaching and research experience of more than 20 years who work in all areas of the prestigious Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (Valencian Institute of Infertility, IVI), where over 25,000 assisted reproduction treatments are performed a year, share their extensive knowledge, skills and experience to provide students with the most up-to-date theoretical information. This program is aimed at recent graduates with a Degree in Biomedical Sciences and also at professionals working in this area who wish to refresh their knowledge so as to provide their patients with the best possible attention and assistance on offer today.

The learning method is based on the virtual attendance to the classes through our e-learning platform. Students will receive the content of each module that forms the master through voice over slides that will improve their understanding. In addition, the classes will be complemented with multimedia material, videos, pdf’s, and image galleries.

In order to certify that the student assimilates the knowledge studied, a continuous assessment method will be carried out through tests, case studies and development activities. This set of activities will be guided and evaluated by the corresponding tutors.

The Virtual Classroom is the online platform available to the student to communicate with teachers and their peers, access the documentation and all the resources put at their disposal (videos, bibliography, links, etc.).

Online training allows learning and being updated throughout life, as it breaks the barriers of time and space, and makes continuous training compatible with the professional and personal life of each student, being the one who decides the pace that you want to follow, at any time and from anywhere.
