Description

The nutritional epigenomic effect of Vitamin D has been recently suggested, and its relationship with aging seems to be linked with many cellular processes mediated by this steroid hormone, one of them telomere shortening.

Telomere theory in reproductive aging states that ovarian dysfunction related to age is a consequence of the progressive shortening of the telomeres in the adult ovary.

We present a comprehensive review of these subjects and our main results, also evaluating the accuracy in vitamin D measurement
