The general objective is to update and expand knowledge about reproductive medicine based on previously acquired understanding of human reproduction and endocrinology.

Competencies
- Describe the endocrine and physiological basis of the male and female reproductive systems.
- Identify gynecological and urological pathologies that have the greatest effect on fertility in order to be able to diagnose and treat them.
- Select appropriate assisted reproductive techniques according to the underlying causes of infertility in each case.
- Implement the guidelines on diagnosis and protocol of action in those special situations in reproduction.
- Apply problem-solving and decision-making strategies in an assisted reproduction laboratory setting.
- Design customized treatment plans for patients with fertility problems and improve outcomes.
- Describe the main bioethical aspects in the application of ART according to the Spanish legislation derived from human reproduction.

Course Completion
A course will only be considered successfully completed when the student has fully completed the entire program. If the course includes a practical component, it will not be deemed completed unless that component has been fully carried out.
No certificate of completion or attendance will be issued if the student has not completed all the activities included in the course program. Under no circumstances will certificates be issued for partial completion of either the theoretical or practical parts of the course.
