Description
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and terms in the field of assisted reproduction and genetic diagnosis. Participants will learn about basic genetics, DNA structure, chromosomes, genes, and patterns of inheritance.
Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) will be covered to detect genetic alterations in embryos before implantation, as well as carrier screening studies that identify the risks of transmitting hereditary diseases during genetic counseling sessions.

ACCREDITATION
IVI RMA Campus is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) to provide CME activities for medical specialists. Credits for users will be 1 European CME credit for each hour (60 minutes of actual e-learning, excluding introduction, etc.) of use, provided that users have completed a module and passed the corresponding evaluation.
To complete the course, it will be necessary to view the modules in the order in which they appear. It will also be possible to open and close them as many times as desired, as well as to reproduce them unlimited times during the duration of the course.
As for the evaluation, it will be available until the end date of the course and there is no time limit for it. It is possible to open and close it as many times as you wish, but you only have two attempts to send the answers. The minimum grade for passing the evaluation is 70%.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Once the course has started, enrollment cancellation will not be possible, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Theoretical-practical courses are designed as an indivisible training unit; therefore, no refunds will be granted once the course has begun, even if the practical component has not yet started.
Course Completion
A course will only be considered successfully completed when the student has fully completed the entire program. If the course includes a practical component, it will not be deemed completed unless that component has been fully carried out.
No certificate of completion or attendance will be issued if the student has not completed all the activities included in the course program. Under no circumstances will certificates be issued for partial completion of either the theoretical or practical parts of the course.
