Description

This course aims to analyze the involvement of various immunological and hematological factors in assisted reproduction treatments and the evolution of pregnancies. 

The course also covers the coordinated actions that must be carried out in a multidisciplinary manner to control these factors, thereby improving treatment outcomes and achieving pregnancies without associated obstetric complications.

  • Describe the different factors of thrombophilia their prevalence and the risk of thrombosis associated with each of them. 
  • Identify the thrombophilia profile being requested and factors not associated with thrombosis. 
  • Explain the pathophysiological basis of the association of thrombophilia with fertility. 
  • Identify and diagnose obstetric antiphospholipid syndrome. 
  • Describe the role of the immune system in assisted reproduction treatments.
  • Identify cases of infertility due to an immunological factor. 
  • Interpret the results of laboratory tests related to immunology and hematology of assisted reproduction. 
  • Design personalized treatment protocols for patients with immunological or hematological disorders who are seeking fertility treatment. 
  • Apply knowledge to solve patients' doubts and requests.
